THE ALIGNED EXHALE

What Is The Aligned Exhale?
Aligned (adj.) — in the correct or appropriate relative position; all parts working together in the proper arrangement.
When you are aligned, nothing is pulling against itself. Your body, your mind, your nervous system — all moving in the same direction. Not perfect. Just whole.
Exhale (v.) — to breathe out; the body’s natural act of letting go.
When you exhale, your nervous system down-regulates. Your heart rate slows. Your muscles release. Your body remembers it’s safe.
Welcome to The Aligned Exhale!
I got into Yoga and wellness at 11 years old to help with severe endometriosis symptoms. As an adult, I've taken over 1,000 hours of various trainings over the years. For over a decade, I have instructed in studios and across corporate and nontraditional wellness settings, as well as having years of experience working with diverse populations, including senior citizens, military members and veterans, families, infants through teens, individuals with a wide range of physical and mental disabilities, neurodivergent children and adults, and beginner-to-advanced movers of all backgrounds.
My experience also includes working with various professional and student-athletes, including the Washington Commanders Football Team, supporting stress relief, mental clarity, breathwork, recovery, mobility, and assisted stretching.
The Aligned Exhale was created to provide safe, welcoming wellness spaces that prioritize accessibility, regulation, and real-life needs for people of all ages. My mission is to create environments where everyBODY feels aligned, supported, and grounded, no matter where they are on their wellness journey.

About Our Classes
What the Aligned Exhale offers
Classes at The Aligned Exhale are designed to be grounding, accessible, and supportive. This is not a space focused on performance or appearance. There’s no pressure to move perfectly, keep up with a rigid structure, or already feel confident in yoga or Pilates-style movements.
The focus is simply showing up for yourself and moving in a way that feels manageable and regulating. You don’t need to know sequences, have strength dialed in, or fit a certain mold to participate.
Classes pull inspiration from yoga, Pilates, breathwork, mobility, stretch therapy, and real-life experience, teaching and working with real bodies. If you’d like more details, feel free to explore my education and certifications linked below. Classes are delivered in a way that helps you feel confident and supported, regardless of class style or what level you’re starting from.
Movements, pacing, and music are all chosen intentionally to support people across different physical, mental, and emotional experiences and different stages of life. These classes are designed to fit into real life, whether you’re able to carve out quiet time for yourself or have little ones nearby and no childcare available.

CHOOSING THE RIGHT CLASS
I know that making time for yourself can sometimes be the hardest part, so I’ve made the rest as simple and clear as possible.
Each class includes clear details around pricing, length, timing, location, level, and what to expect, so you can choose what feels right for you without overthinking it.
